This topic is old , but gas at Murphy in Lebanon today was  $3.59.

We’re back down to the prices the OP was complaining about, but now we’re happy about it. Perspective is a funny thing.

I'd just like to take a moment to recognize the Biden administration for working tirelessly to get us back to these reasonable gas prices.

Interesting how excited we get when gas goes under $4 when that was what it was back in the Spring and it was $2 cheaper 2 years ago.

Might have something to do with this regime. 🤔

Just wait until the 90 day 18.4 cent Fed fuel tax expires.

Anyone else noticing the huge swings in gas prices across the state? Somehow gas is .80 cheaper outside major cities. I don't how this is possible. Gas is still around $4.05 near my house in Knoxville but is only $3.25 in Crossville.

If almost feels like price fixing. Are gas stations choosing not to lower their prices in certain areas? Do our gas taxes change much from county to county?

I’ve noticed. No idea what the cause is.

What was going on two years ago that would cause gas to be cheap... oh yeah.

The same cause that makes it .20$ more in "rich" neighborhoods than less so.  They can charge more so they do.

I got some in Algood for $3.22 the other day. I'm still not happy though. It was way cheaper before Bidumb or whoever the hell took office.

$2.93.9 Sevierville yesterday. Now $1.30 more than 2020.

I'm heading that way in a couple weeks.

I've not seen any under 3 bucks since the Commies took office. Emphasis on "took".

Yup.  Hasn’t been the same since W pushed his way in.  I never worried about filling up my tank prior to his term.

Yep!  Thanks Brandon.  I can finally fill up for for less than 40 bucks.  Please keep doing whatever you are doing.  Make it drop further.
