I don’t know why I always put this off until the first day I go fishing.

I wish we had a rolling year from purchase.

I get your point but using the TWRA On the Go App sure makes it easier then it used to be.

Oh, I had not heard they.  That’s great.

It is a rolling year now.  Good for 12 months from purchase.

I have mine set to auto renew through the TWRA App.  Makes it easy so I do not have to remember.

It might delay a little once, but you still need to purchase another one each year, right?

what are you referring to about the delay?

TWRA made quite a big deal about this, but I don’t get it. Let’s say you buy one in June instead of March. Next year it expires in June instead of the end of February. In a year, it still expires. You got 3 free months the first year, but I don’t see any advantage after that.

Am I missing something?

Nope you are not.  It really is not that big of a deal.  You still have to buy it each year.  I guess a lot people were complaining that they would buy a license and not get to use it for a whole year.  In reality it is just perception, you are not saving any money.

It’s not a big deal for me as a resident - but I really appreciate the full year in states where I buy non-resident permits. Glad to extend that courtesy to people who do that in our state.

What I really wish is that we’d extend reciprocity to lifetime sportsman license holders like several states around us do.

Now that makes sense. I didn’t consider non residents. Thanks.
