Another west coast escapee.....

Hey everyone!

Another west coast escapee here, I was able to get out of the Democratic People's Republic of Kalifornia (aka the DPRK) back in September and recently found this board. I'm not a man of many words but I will look to jump in and contribute where I can!

As the name suggests, I do have a classic '67 Mustang that once belonged to my grandmother. Interesting backstory; after she passed the family was cleaning out her garage and lo and behold, the Mustang everyone thought she sold was hiding under a pile of boxes. Thousands of dollars later, I have an *almost* restored Mustang that now sits under a car cover in my garage. Haha.

Welcome to a "free" state.  I understand the 67 Mustang and "thousands of dollars later".  I have a 65 coupe that's being restored and I'm getting poorer by the day.  Sure going to be pretty when it's done though.

Nice mustang welcome to Tennessee

Tell me about it.  I have a 1939 Packard 110 business coupe I finished about 15 years ago.  Now I’m restoring a 1938 Lincoln Zephyr three window coupe.  Parts are almost impossible to source.  They will bury me in this car as it’s my final restoration.

Hey, another west coaster with a classic mustang! I just signed up and was going to post here when I saw your thread. For the 1st half of my life I lived in CA, 2nd in OR, and got my 66 mustang in 87. Looks like maybe you and I have the same wheels: American Racing Torq Thrust?. If all goes according to plan, the 3rd half of my life will be in TN. 😀

Yep! Same wheels, was able to get a smoking deal on them that I couldn't pass up!

What engine code is she? I’ve got an S-code fastback I got the day after I turned 16. She’s in need of restoration, but I have a sideoiler to replace the 390 when I’m full retired.
