Here's mine. A Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Classic in 280 Remington. It's killed a LOT of deer since I bought it 30+ years ago. Show me yours.

The one I use the most is my Marlin 1895 in .45-70 that has been cut down to 16" and mounted with a scout scope.

My second most used one is my Kimber Mountain Ascent in .308

I hunt with all kinda different rifles, if I buy something new, well it goes to the field.

I have blooded most of my rifles, mostly one of three 35 Remingtons, then a couple 30-30's, a  sporterized 1903 30-06, 444 Marlin, 308 Marlin Express, a couple different 223's 😮, a Rossi 357, heck one year I took a young one with a 12 ga., and then there's the handguns, a couple different 44 mags, a 41 mag, and even once with 44 cal. BP revolver.

Still got a few to try and use before I pass.

I do too, but this rifle and my muzzleloader gets most of the serious work.

Absolute favorite deer hunting cartridge in a beautiful rifle.

Have not hunted with it, but I plan to try this next season. 6.5 Grendel.  We will see what happens.

Should work splendidly.

I'm with Sidinman, have a safe full of deer rifles and have bloodied them all. As I grow long in the tooth, I am slowly selling off my deer rifles (thank you TGO). Have killed a lot of deer also with my bows, muzzleloaders and handguns. But if I have a favorite deer rifle, it would have to be my Ruger M77 International .243 I bought in my twenties. It was my first deer rifle and the only one I had, because back then, raising a family and carving out a life was a bit tougher for me. 45 years later, and sitting comfortable, I have quite a few, almost to the point I think it's silly. But as I slowly let them go, if and when I get back to one rifle (don't hold your breath) it would be this one. Lots of memories, lots of venison, and a few big racks to boot. It has served me well. 🙂

No judgment on the hunting style. I’ve been cold in the woods plenty of times. This was out of state hunting my father-in-law’s property. It was a meat hunt and a nuisance management hunt. But I did shoot my best buck with the Ruger American on the left (not from the garage window).

Like a lot of guys, I’ve got a pile of rifles that I have and still do hunt with from time to time. This one gets the most attention though. It’s a custom 260 slinging 130gr accubonds.

I have high hopes for this little 25.06 hunting rig, if I ever have time to sight it in. I picked this up when the folks at “camping world” when full blow libtard and ditched guns/ammo … for a SONG! I’ve never had a compact 25.06 setup so not sure yet how it’ll perform but if it’s like the 7mm08 steyr mountain rifle I let get away from me 😞 it’ll be a tack driver.  Had a 1” tube side focus Super Slam in a dark corner of one of the safes that should work out fine on it image.thumb.jpeg.2330d43e41a68ba5d0fa1305ae2cc385.jpegimage.thumb.jpeg.c44e61d143dea067e844186fe3673a88.jpeg

That looks pretty handy. Isn’t the length of pull awfully short though?

It is, but I have an additional stock spacer for it that I’ve just not put in yet due to lack of having range time
