I have the red dot version that I love and I it was $299 retail last summer when I bought it.  They gave a good military veteran discount when I bought mine but not that deep. I also picked up one of the manual brightness and this auto adjust. I prefer the auto. 
 

Joe is practically giving it away. That is a steal of a deal. If I did not already have two of them I would get it.

I'm delighted to hear that you are happy with yours. I'm getting ready to get the Liberty for my M&P Compact. I really like the  green dot but don't want to pay the money for the Holosun.

I just wish they made a 4 MOA but I guess you really can't tell the difference.
