<$3,800??? Sheesh!

Agreed. I could have had an original model several times at a cheaper price than that and it was SS not rat rod primer black.

I missed one by just minutes a few years ago, yes at a much better price. Demolition Ranch had one the came apart while he was firing it, bad news.

The Auto Mag Raven? I associate "Raven" with cheap, low quality .25ACPs.  Is that just me? Maybe Auto Mag Dark or Stealth would have been better.

Ugh.  That price will kill it before it even gets rolling.

Unless the design has changed that might kill it alone.  The originals are notoriously unreliable.

Not to mention that availability of rimless .44 Mag ammo.

Don't knock the Raven .25s. Cheap? Low quaility? Absolutely. But the darn things are also completely reliable. They work. period. 👍

Yes they are, mine is 100%, even with my reloads.

Those guys won't sell a dozen the first year, IMO. The Desert Eagle has a lock on that market, not to mention the availability of lots of extra mags. I have the .357mag version, super good gun.

Anybody scroll to the bottom to see the company timeline?

First entry includes "filed bankruptcy" and the remaining history is filled with the automag being used in movies and videos games with outstanding reliability and results...

They've been making them in batches of 100.  Word from SHOT Show is that they took orders for several hundred at the show.

My original needed tweaking to run reliably.  The original mags sucked until I opened the feed lips a titch to get the rounds to sit a hair higher.  The new guns were totally debugged and the new mags are supposed to fix the feeding issue.

The Automag is about as sexy as a pistol can be.  And it always gets a lot of attention at the range.  I got my last couple of boxes from Midway.  So, the ammo is out there again.  But, it ain't cheap to shoot!  If you want to, you can cut down .308 cases and resize for reloads.

I read these were coming back. What I saw said the new owners were putting big money into making these monsters actually shoot, I think the design is gorgeous, if they actually work I'll be in line,

I would sure like to shoot one but would not be able to justify the price

Same here.  I've been interested in shooting one since they first came out, but no one I know has ever bought one, which is unusual -- I know a lot of shooters and it would seem like somebody would have it.
