Alexander and Franklin ARs

Friend of mine sent me a list of some guns he’s selling. He knows I’m looking for an AR. He has an Alexander arms Incursion rifle in 5.56 and a Franklin Armory A.R. 15 (I don’t know which model yet).

I don’t know anything much about these two brands. Trying to research them is irritating. When I try to find Franklin Armory AR15 reviews, all I find is talk about the binary trigger, which I care nothing about. Same with the Alexander Arms, all I find is talk of the 6.5 Grendel.
Does anyone know anything about the quality of these two brands and the materials used, especially in the bolt and the barrel?

Alexander Arms is a premium brand.  Bill Alexander runs a tight ship.  I have one of his guns (in 6.5 Grendel!) and it's very nice.  He also stands behind his products.

All I know about Franklin Armory is that I see them advertise models for 'restricted states', as well as their trigger.

I am the opposite. I've never held an Alexander AR, so I can't comment on them.

I have held a complete Franklin lower & almost bought the thing. Probably should have as it had the binary trigger. It was well built, no machine marks that I could see. No rattles, that sort of thing.

No clue what price your buddy is quoting, but it seems you're good to go on either brand. Perhaps the determining factor(s) might be things such as barrel length, front sight post or not, fixed stock or adjustable, that sort of thing?

Post some pics if you can?
