Escapee from southern California

So thrilled to live in a free state, relocated from LA area in November.

The Lord opened doors for us to be here, bought a new construction home here in Spring Hill.

Getting used to this weather!

I was overwhelmed at the variety of firearms available here that are not available new from a dealer in California due to their onerous and illogical laws.

Glad you made it to Tennessee. Welcome to the fourm, great bunch of people here. I have a brother-in-law that lives in North Edwards. Don’t be overwhelmed by all the firearms that are available, just buy one or two or three or four of each and you will be fine.

Forgot to add first round on the FNG, make mine a 30 06.

Welcome to TGO and Spring Hill! Not too much new construction left in this city. We just moved neighborhoods (10 minute walk from the old house) in June but have been in the Hill since 2005.

Welcome. Good to hear you made it out of the land of crazies. If you ever miss LA just come down and I’ll drive you through Memphis.

Welcome to TN. What area of LA are you from? I lived in San Diego and in Temecula. Decent Mexican food is kind of hard to come by out this way. It can be found, but the vast majority is Tex Mex.

Welcome! You'll find TN a gun friendly state with gun friendly folks. (I'm a damn Yankee myself, but I don't tell these guys 😆 ... but I've lived here for 45 years, so I'm pretty southern grounded I'd say)

This is the south - after 45 years, you're still the "new guy" ...

There's a cool little cigar shop in Springhill, a former gas station, I think? I used to ride down from Nashville to shop there. Sits on 31W.

If you don't do cigars, then ignore. LOL!

Welcome to TN!
