Snow!

It's starting to pile up here, laying on the road and my driveway. Cars seem to be moving fine, if slowly. Still wet under the snow so we'll see if it melts off overnight or turns into an icey mess.

I really hope it doesn't get too ugly as I'm supposed to take my older boy to Children's in the morning. Tomorrow may be a long day.

We have about 2.5 inches here in Mt Juliet, snow stopped close to 5pm. Driveway is mostly clear, have not been out so no road report.

We ended up with about 5' where I am in Spring Hill.  I think we've had more snow in the past three weeks than we have in the past three years.

I hope you meant 5 inches not 5 feet 🙂

Yep, inches.  I couldn't imagine what trouble one foot would cause around here. Things would be shut down for weeks 😁

I'm in rural, southern Williamson County near Thompsons Station and Spring Hill.  We got about 5-6" of the stuff again yesterday.  I enjoy it, the kids love it, but I am ready for it to be gone.  I just don't have the kind of outdoors gear anymore that enjoying this kind of weather really requires.

Here are some pics in case you haven't seen enough of it yet.  😉

We have a Japanese Maple tree in front of our house.  Last night after the temperatures began to plummet again and the snow began to turn to ice, I caught a few photos of the tree lit by some of the lights nearby.

These pictures really don't do it justice.  It was beautiful.

I don’t think it would phase her in the least.

I use to love Waffle House till they put the no gun rule in and I have not been to one since. I know I could carry concealed but not going to break the law just to eat a meal.

I’ve never seen a posted Waffle House. I usually see several guns in any I’ve eaten at. When did this happen?
