That is the same price as the ShieldPlus. I will be curious how the two compare at the range. Roughly the same dimensions.

Striker fired polymer frame or hammer fired alloy frame.

Being a happy new owner of the Shield Plus, this sneak peek of the CSX did give me pause.  Did I buy too early?

But now that more details, including videos are out, I'm patting my Plus with pride and saying "meh" to the fanfare.  I hope it sells, but you won't see me at the head of the line.

I have the Shield. And then got the P365XL for its capacity (and it just feels great in my hand). However if the Plus had come out earlier, I might be rocking that instead.

I might still get one at some point. I do like S&W pistolas

Its a good looking gun but the trigger has a "cheap plastic" look to it. I have other guns that have plastic triggers but this trigger just has the cheap look to it.

Get a Shield Plus! You won't regret it!

BTW...did I see somewhere that the Plus model and the CSX use the same mags?

That would make too much sense. 🤣

I thought you said I needed P38? 😎

Yes. Yo do need a P38. However, you will buy a Shield Plus because you want it. LOL!

Metal framed and SAO. Modern take on 1911? At least it is different.

I like it.

Well...that was interesting. James Reeves comments lead me to believe it might just be a strong Shield Plus competitor. Better trigger(? somewhat wonky reset), seems to fire faster(subjective), lighter with same or better capacity. Seems to have good possibilites. Will have to see and feel one in action.

Maybe this will replace my want for a Shield Plus.

That shouldn't be hard, IMO. The whole Shield series underwhelms me & I LOVE S&W revolvers.

I'd like to see it in 45acp. That would probably get my full attention.

Gun would have to get bigger in order to handle the .45acp. That kinda defeats the entire premise of this particular gun, IMO.

Lots of talk about these on the internet along with some pretty good reviews and videos.  Kinda like a mini 1911 some say. Dunno why I’m intrigued, I don’t need one of these, lol.
