Live Elk Camera

Does anyone here go and look at the live Elk Camera the TWRA has set up in East Tennessee. I go quite often. There is only about 4 out in the field right now but I have counted s many as 25 or more many times. They are interesting to watch.....JMHO

I do. That is one of the best uses of money I’ve yet to see from the TWRA.

I had forgotten about that, I'll check it out. There used to be one in a park in Africa, you could watch whatever shows up, 24/7. Don't have the link to it now, I'll see if I can find it, "if" it's still there.

I found it, counted 11 then. Couldn't find the Africa thing. Appears it's been taken down. The link was on a member post, that is no longer there.

Best to go see the viewing area in person, it's pretty cool.

Just clicked on it and was panning 360 degrees continuously, never saw it do this before.

Glad you mentioned it. I think they have an issue with the camera as it has been panning 360 all morning. I guess they will have to send someone up to fix it but the field is full of Elk right now.
