Buds online store shows the Rock Island GI Standard in stock in that caliber.  I know they have a store in Sevierville, no idea how to check stock there.

I believe you can purchase it online and have them send it to the store in Sevierville. Of course the next thing is finding ammo for it…

Yeah, I kind of figured that was the case, but having never actually bought anything from Bud's, I wasn't sure.  Sounds like the way to order guns, at least for anyone reasonably close to Sevierville.

Can't say for sure, but I think the OP may be looking for a used one for sale locally. All I can say is good luck with that. 

The Super is an oddball cartridge these days. Not near as popular as it once was. It was very popular with competition shooters for a long time. But with the coming of 9mm Major ammo it pretty much died off. Yet it does have a small, but almost cultish following. Owners rarely sell. 

I like the cartridge and have 4 of them. Nope, they ain't for sale.

My suggestion to the OP is to either order a new one on line or search the auction sites.

You may also check GunprodeaIs got good price on a shield plus through them a few months back. I believe I saw some 38 super 1911 on there a couple days ago.

I have had 2 -38 super. Loved them both. My son now has claim to them 

the Rock Island is a good pistol

The Gun Crew in Hermitage has boo coo .38Super ammo. Not outrageous price either. 

I'm glad I bought my Colt LW Commander when I did, before prices & supply went insane. Love the caliber though.

The Gun Crew in Old Hickory has a few 38 Supers.  They are special editions so not cheap
