Yea it'll make some fine sausage, the big ones like this we have everything but the backstrap ground up into sausage. Have the backstrap made into pork chops and ran through a tenderizer.

I'll be honest, I've never seen a wild pig in the daylight. I've killed hundreds at night, but I'm shooting at thermal images on a screen. To see one walk in under my deer stand would be outstanding. Congratulations.

Getting deer on public land happens pretty often but a big hog on public land is rare and kind of a treasure that seldom happens.

New to Tennessee and I'm looking for somewhere to hunt hogs. Are there certain public lands where they're more abundant or should I be seeking out private property for this? I'm also interested in coyote hunting or any type of predator hunting honestly. Thanks!

Last I looked, you can only specifically hunt hogs on private property.  There is no "hog season" anymore.  If you see one while deer hunting (during deer season) you can shoot it.

This is accurate. If on one of the WMA you can only shoot one during deer season.
