They dont talk a lot about the initial collision.  Clearly the woman was afraid for her safety but bringing a firearm into this to defend herself ended up working against her.

Eh, the article definitely paints a picture of her being the aggressor here.

While I have strong feelings that pursuing someone longer than absolutely necessary to get plate information is not a good idea exactly for the reasons of the final outcome, with the information listed in the article it’s hard to see her as the victim here

She hit another motorist, fled the scene, entered her home to retrieve a firearm and then re-engaged with the motorist she initially hit with her car. I’m not declaring the other parties innocent, they may very well be guilty of criminal actions and I’d be interested to see what the investigation turns up.

Ultimately it looks like a lot of poor decision making from multiple people resulting in a woman’s death.

I'm not understanding the title of this post. How is she a "good girl with a gun"? She intentionally struck a motorcyclist with her car, then refused to wait for police when people caught up to her. She then went to a home and came out with a gun & pointed it at the motorcyclist who was licensed to carry and shot her. She committed assault twice & was justifiably shot.

Always more to a story, but just based on the article you linked to, she was not a good girl with a gun (nor a car).

Praying for all involved, a baby has gone unborn.

I am wondering why she hit the other driver.

Where does it say she was pregnant?

Not in this article it seems but I read a few different ones and she was 4-5 months pregnant.

Since we don’t know the circumstances of the original incident it’s open for interpretation.

The woman may have been boxed in by the riders or any number of scenarios. She clearly just wanted out of whatever situation she was in and forced her way out of it and was then pursued to her home where she sought to protect herself.

And it's that easy for bad decisions to get you killed....

Once you go inside the house STAY INSIDE the house and call the cops. Don't go back outside armed and confront them. This is tragic but completely preventable.
