Seems like BLM & ANTIFA are running late to start the protest. Oh, the driver wasn't white. Never mind.

Was the perp a police officer? If not, it might be best to skip the hyperbole and focus on the Kyle Rittenhouse float that escaped unscathed...

Guess you missed the point.

Not every 911 call should require a police presence.  Having someone respond to traffic accidents like the Memphis PST’s and others to respond to potential mental health issues without escalating the situation is a win in my book.

True enough, but who is going to decipher which calls get a cop and which get a mental health specialist? 911 dispatchers have a tough-enough job, but it's been my experience (25 years as a volunteer fireman / EMT) that most of them don't have the education to make that kind of call.  It was also my experience that a significant proportion of the calls to which I was dispatched were not exactly as described by the dispatcher. For example, one call was for a gas station fire and it turned out that a semi-truck had a smoking brake. Remember that the dispatcher is just relaying information given to him over the telephone, the dispatcher hasn't had a chance to personally evaluate the situation.

Whenever I was dispatched to any kind of potentially violent situation the police were dispatched at the same time. Believe me, if I was going into a domestic violence situation, or to one where someone was threatening or had attempted suicide,  I wanted the cops there with me.

Ideally there would be a way to know when a police response is required and when some other response would be better. But idealism has to take a backseat to realism in most situations that require a 911 response. It's nice to sit in your armchair and think of ways to improve the system, it's a lot tougher to implement those ideas in system that requires immediate responses to dangerous situations.

Not at all....

Now, how do you know which which parade float is Kyle Rittenhouse's?

It's the one with kids shooting at people throwing candy...

You didn't like the verdict.  We get it.

I haven't said a thing about the verdict.

I do get that it makes you want to run around and shoot guns in the air like a rootin' tootin' Yosemite Sam at a Taliban wedding party, but, whatever...

What I didn't like was closeted racist remarks that driver of  parade crash "wasn't white".

The only relevance to this creeps race being black is that the media will not hype the story. It's very obvious when something horrible like this happens and it "happens" to be a non- white there is a delay in info and negative speculation that is not afforded a white person.

Why? Pushing stories where White Supremacist radicals kill people is working very well to divide this country. Facts be dammed, the ends justify the means...When we are divided we are easy to control.

If the media was honest and treated all equal in their reporting we wouldn't be so close to losing the rights we have left in this Country.

But diminished rights seems to be on their agenda. Especially the 2nd A.

As most will agree, and when the 2nd is gone the rest will fall in very short order, just look at history.

That's not a racist remark, it's a slight against the media and their proclivity to push a narrative.

All white people are all evil racist.

Anything bad a person of color does is because of the evil white man.

Anything good a person of color does is in spite of the evil white man.

That is in fact racist to all parties involved. We are all capable of evil. It shouldn't be sugar coated or covered differently just because of one's race.

Kyle was called a white supremacist by the government and media all the way up to the president without a shred of evidence. If you even hint that about the Christmas parade driver, you'll be labeled a white supremacist even if you're black.

Looks like you are pushing a racist narrative.

I don't believe Biden called that child a racist, but rather, stated that some racists descended to Kenosha in response to the riots.

Please try to be accurate.

Excellent Post!!!

I think its a valid point. MSM relies heavily on racism. Did anybody else notice that national news coverage of the Collierville shooting quickly disappeared  from MSM when it was revealed that the shooter was a POC (asian)?

I’m going to pause this one for a minute - mainly because I’ve got other things I want to think about over the next few days.
