A bar and grille in Nashville

Anybody in the Nashvegas area know anything about a bar called 3rd and Lindsley?

Just in general, what type of bar is it? Is it just a regular bar and grille?

It's a music showcase room; lots of new aspiring talent uses it to perform for invited record execs to try to get a deal. They also feature established bands and acts. It is also a bar and grill. It is located... well, at the corner of 3rd and Lindsley.

And it's right down the street from where I work. I've eaten lunch there a few times.

Sorry about that. I thought I posted it in the off topic forum (in fact, I REALLY thought I did). I tried to post it in the "non gun related" forum. Is there a different one where it should have been?

Thanks for the info on the bar. I may be coming up (or is it "over") there next weekend to here a friend of mine sing. Quite frankly, my friend is gay, and she plays a lot of gay venues, and I just wanted to be sure I where I was going. (that's not any type of slam or anything, just wanted to find out ahead of time).

You get a pretty diverse crowd at 3rd and Lindsley, but its not a "gay bar." You'll see profs from Vanderbilt, college kids and everything in between. Cool place, good tunes.

Thanks. I may be coming up on Friday the 20th to hear Steff Mahan, if anyone is interested. I haven't heard her in a while, but she used to sing really good!
