Rifle not sighted in after coming off lead sled?

Yes. The recoil movement is different sled vs shoulder. Plus the sleds are notoriously hard on optics. Try sighting in w/o the sled & if scope still adjusts accurately & groups are still good, your optic survived the 'sled experience' (yay!) If not...that's a bummer 馃槥

I agree 100%, shooting off a sled that takes the recoil the scope will be off a bit, let the rifle rest in to your shoulder when you sight it in.

I use a sled, and so far no issues, but I don't strap it down, it just rests on the sled, and after I'm zeroed, I confirm on a bag.

Haven't had any issues with several rifles sighted in. 聽In fact it is my go to for initial sight in as can use less ammo getting poi to match pop. 聽Now when someone else shoots a scoped rifle I have sighted in have noticed they will be a bit off sometimes. 聽A friend of mine shoots to the left with a scope, not sure why. 聽

Has anyone had an issue of sighting a gun in on the sled, but when you shoot it out of the sled, it鈥檚 not remotely close?

What kind of difference are you talking about? That information is needed to give the best answer.

No problems with using my sled the last 10 or so years. I have never strapped a rifle down in it. I tend to shoot pretty loose with my left hand resting on the middle of the scope.
