I'm wondering why an "emotional support" animal should not be touched.

My thought was how does that work if the monkey, allegedly according to the article, will high five on command. Maybe they meant don't touch my monkey in the euphemistic sense, not her pet? 

Not many things better than a good stripper story.

Well I dated a stripper back in the day. Her stage name was miss kitty. Back then monkey was a euphemism for something else she had.

Many, many years ago when I was a much younger man, there was a stripper in the town near by. Absolutely beautiful woman and naturally very popular. When she danced you could hear the chairs slowly scooting closer to the stage. But then she'd reach into a box on stage and start dancing with a 8-10 ft snake.  Suddenly all those chairs started scooting back in a big hurry!
