I am fortunate to be still out there earning a decent wage. Still got my 401K match, and a much smaller bonus this year. My company has layed off a bunch of people, but my department seems sound for the moment. However, the wife was layed off in August of last year and has yet to find anything. It's going to get tougher if her unemployment runs out before she finds a new job, but all in all we're doing OK. I just hope things pick up soon and those of you who are not doing so well come out OK.

Your poll has no options for me which is sporatic employment.Last year sucked,we were off more than we worked.All the other contractors have laid off the more senior,experienced (read higher paid) workers and are using young kids straight out of trade school.We have a big job coming up in May at Sewanee.Maybe work will hold out till then.I ain't seen it this bad since the late 70s-early 80s.Everybody who says it ain't affecting them count yourself lucky.

In the Ag industry, things have moved a little slower. It is never business as usual in the ag supply industry. Credit in our industry has tightened, but it is very available.
