I was referring to real guns. I don't do plastic. Not even Springfield's plastic. 😉

Noted. 😁

I have no complaints about any Springfield 1911 that I have owned. 🙂

Metal and wood, you know it's good. 👍

Sweet; what a looker. Glad to see metal making a comeback.

I wonder how well this one compares to the CZ-75/85 line in terms of accuracy/shootability?

It shows it being "built in the USA" but is it forged and COMPLELTELY made in the USA ? I cant seem to find that out for sure ? Sometimes places will say "built in USA" but it really means ASSEMBLED in USA.

I think the best quote I've seen from social media regarding the SA-35 was along the lines of, "Well done, Springfield.  All of your past mistakes are now forgiven." 😂

Accuracy will depend on if they used a one or two-piece barrel, IMO. On their lower end 1911s, they use (or used to) a two-piece & accuracy suffered a bit.

I would like to know if a Bar-Sto HP barrel will fit? That combo would be perfect, IMO.

Not sure that really matters anymore as far as quality. Personal preference might be another direction though. Wouldn't matter to me as long as it's decent quality.

According to Springfield, it should be compatible with almost all aftermarket parts designed for the BHP. As is the case with any BHP part, fitting may be required.
