address change...

hey yall... so  i bought a house, my regular ID expired, so i renewed it.. but i have  2 years until my gun permit expired. so it still has my old address on it, but since i renewed my regular ID that has the same number. am i good to carry? or i do have to change the address on my permit as well?

I would say yes, you need to change the address, however wait till a few others chime in on this.

You are good to carry on your permit. And yes, it is the same number, the same address, the same database. So if you updated your license with a new address that address is in the system for your permit as well. You are not required to send off for a new copy with an updated address unless you would just rather have them match.

I moved close to 4 months ago. I’m ashamed at myself for not getting my DL, CDL and HCP changed yet. It’s getting done next week. Work is getting in the way. I’ll will make time. Hope I remember all the CDL paperwork. It’s a pain.

As Chuck said if you changed it for one it covers all. In Tennessee it is all one entry if ran just shows on your license and then there is section for handgun permit and expiration date for it.
