Just across the border from Chattanooga. Live in GA - work in TN. Shoot in TN quite often - mainly north of Knoxville. NRA & Georgia Carry Member. Glad to have found you guys. Looks like you have a good group participation going. Mainly a Glock dude - but I have an assortment firearms. :D

Ringgold - just a hop, skip & a jump away from Lafayette. Someone just told me today of a range they use to shoot at in LaFayette or close by. I was thinking of checking it out.

Welcome from Knox County. Where do you shoot north of Knoxville?

Ever use your Glock scuba diving?

Campbell County - private property. Sometimes we go up to the Oneida exit - when there is not open hunts going on.

I know ringgold well. As far as the shooting range, the woods behind my house was my shooting range. I haven't lived in LaFayette for years, so if a range was built, I don't know about it. There are plenty of chirt pits and stuff around you can shoot at, but I guess you already know about them.

I never shot at an indoor range until I was stationed here. I really don't like indoor ranges, too confining.

Welcome from a few miles up the road. At least for a couple days. I'm in East Brainered, but til recently was just over the border in East Ridge for almost 5 years... moving back to jasper (about 30 miles from the GA/TN line) on friday, just taking a break from packing. Welcome to the forum!

Welcome. You should check out Mid TN Shooters in Manchester when you want to shoot. It's alot closer than Knoxville and they hold IDPA, USPSA, and 3 gun matches there.

This thread is kind of eerie. I was in Dalton last night. I was in Ringgold this morning and I'm staying in LaFayette right now for work.

What makes it even more crazy, Campbell Co is the next county west of where I live.

Welcome to the site. You live in a nice area from what I can tell.

Not eerie - just a small world. When we moved to Dallas, TX we ran into someone that lived in the small town as we did in Campbell County TN. Never met them before. Went to Detroit a couple of years ago and ran into a girl that was in our high school class - she was working at Wal-Mart. I have been shooting a fair amount at John's Mountain here in GA- public range - not as close in distance as I would like.
