Holster Question!!!

Doesn't make sense for me-difficult to access spare mag when pistol is already in shooting hand-never a good idea to have pistol and spare聽 mag in same holster-

I've seen that holster before, like you I wondered the same thing about the magazine being on the same side as your firearm. As for having the magazine and firearm together, I have a sidecar holster that I carry appendix and it works well. Firearm on my strong/right side, magazine canted toward my left/offhand.聽

I see a lot of holsters like this one.聽 Just don't get it.聽 Glad to see I'm not the only one.聽 It only makes sense with Appendix carry.

It's a decent holster and at least a way to carry another mag.....kill two birds with one stone.聽 Awkward and unconventional but serves its purpose.

never seen this one though I have seen VersaCarry. might be a bit awkward with my belly, but I actually like it. this is a good price for this brand as I have seen them at twice this for a speed scabbard style.

When you carry oddball guns like I do you find a lot of oddball holsters 馃檪

Not the ideal position for a backup mag, but better than at home in the safe?

Mag on the same side looks like a cool idea until you need it, then a problem arises.

had a hankering for a cross draw for one of my .45s. put a straight drop on my off side and couldn't reach it with my strong hand. mind you I am overweight and have had spine surgeries that limit my twisting.聽

On the bright side, it pushed me to lose the belly.

Do any of you have a holster like this? If so how do you like it? I like to carry on the right hip, with my mags on the left hip in a separate mag pouch. This style doesn't make sense to me. How do you access your spare mag with your left hand when carried this way? This seems to be more of an appendix holster.

my son just received his new holster and loves it. He bought my M43 Firestar and size 2 fits very well. seems to be well made and looks as good as the pictures.聽

of course he doesn't have my spare tire to reach across. lol

Where is he wearing it? 1, 3 or 4 o'clock?

3 o'clock. barely noticeable under a t-shirt.

specifically, pistol is at 3. puts the mag a little to the front.
