Well I just picked up a .30-30 lever to go with the Rossi.

That makes three (Henry 22 not pictured) so I officially have a collection.

I guess I have to get a 4th now.

I know it will be considered blasphemous to some, but I plan on putting a vintage scope on the .30-30. It already has the side mount plate attached so I feel obligated to put on a scope.

I have side mount Weaver scope rings and a Vintage Armsport 3x9x32 scope on the way.

I plan to install it rotated 90deg so the top eject shell casings don’t hit the windage adjuster. Photos will be posted when completed.

The 30-30 is a “Sears Ted Williams Model 100” which is basically a rebadged Model 94

I bet I saw that on Gun Owners Club.  Had it been closer, I would have attempted a trade.  It's a nice looking rifle! Congrats!

What is the "Gun Owners Club"?  Something TN?

Yes.  It's a place for buying and selling online.

Here is the “Ted Williams Model 100” Winchester with the scope and an Uncle Mikes hammer extension. We will see if it really will eject ok or not once I get to the range.

I think it looks pretty sweet. Also being a lefty, it’s pretty easy to go between the iron sights and the scope.

If you have 2 you might as well have 6.

Well, I’m getting close. I quickly jumped from 2 to 5

So I promised more lever news. I picked up the Canadian Centennial from @klf493  that @221 Fireball had for sale last year.

I haven’t shot it yet but I like the weight of the octagonal barrel. Some may think the commemorative editions are ugly (you know who you are) but I think it’s a pretty cool rifle

I want to thank @Overseas Living for my latest purchase. I think this is quite a beautiful rifle and while I will shoot it some, I also plan to keep it and enjoy it for its timelessness.

Snaveba, I think you have a problem and I also think I'm very jealous!!! 😆

I agree I have a problem, and admitting the problem is the first step to recovery.

I have purchased 3 lever action rifles in a week. I think that is a new record on gun purchases for me.

the SRC is what I have really been wanting. The other two I think were just getting ready. LOL. But I really like them and they will be shooters.

This one will get shot some, cleaned and stored. Them taken out, fondled, and put back again.  ,

I really like how the Ted Williams turned out with the scope.

Yes, that was a tough one to sell. Obviously no maple leaf Canuck lovers down here. But in reality, it was a good shooter, especially off hand with the heavier octagon barrel. But I already had three other 30-30s ... so. Glad you have it. Shoot the heck out of it and keep the mileage off that pretty .32. 😆

I want a lever action rifle, kind of old-school cow boy cool. I just don’t know what caliber I should go with.  I don’t have plans hunt with it, but it could happen one day. And it does not need to look like a safe queen. Maybe more like I won it in a game of poker while out on the trail running the cattle.

what sayith  the wisdom of the lords of the TGO?

I was just re-reading this thread and everyone’s recommendations must have sunk into my subconscious. I went Henry 22LR, Rossi 92 in a pistol caliber (44mag), then Winchester model 94 in 30-30, “old school” Winchester model 4”94 in l .30-30 with the octagonal barrel, to the true Old School pre-war Winchester 94 Saddle Ring Carbine .32WS.

The last one fits my original thought (except for its amazing condition) of a rifle I might have won in a poker game on the trail.
