What's a good deer attractant for trail cams?

I'm looking for something that will work good for getting pics but, something that I won't have pics with 7 or 8 raccoons in the pic. The little masked bastards eat everything up.

Just drop one of these near a stump or a low area that gets lots of water, not running though.

That's all I've ever used. If you don't have a low lying, wet area, just take a hammer to it & sprinkle it in a shallow scrape.聽

I'm not sure what's in my backyard, but its a great deer attractant. My wife and I watched 5 wonder through slowly around dusk yesterday. Two big does and three little ones. Probably spent 10 minutes or so grazing in the backyard.聽

I've seen more deer since we moved back to TN last month than I have in years!

The mineral blocks are good, and I鈥檝e used the liquid Deer Cane also with good results.聽

Normally I just use the corn and get lots of pics with deer and raccoons dining together. Sometimes I鈥檒l get a pic of a deer trying to bust one of the little bandits lol. I don鈥檛 mind them as long as they stay out of my barn馃槨

In my experience, the best deer attractant is being midway down the ladder of your tree stand.聽馃槃

Sounds like personal experience.聽馃榾

I put out a trace block Sunday but, ain't been back yet. I may have to put out some "yellow acorns" to get some pics. Not been getting a lot of pics so far. Just have to make sure its gone by muzzleloader season.

I got a trace block and mixed up some sugar, salt, cherry gelatin, vanilla pudding mix. I put out the mixture Yesterday. Got pics of a couple good bucks so far.

I covered a stump in my back yard in stanard salt. They were all over it and dug it out for me. I nailed some of the round salt mineral wheels you use for rabbits to it too.聽

Not a trail cam, but might be a cheap way to go. My Dad bought an apple attractant block and nothing ate it. lol

I bought a couple of the "deer suckers" when they came on the market. Same thing, the ants finally ate all of them.

The mixture I mixed up with 4 lb. sugar, box of salt, 2 lg. cherry gelatin, 2 vanilla pudding dry mix, and 2 Jolly Rancher聽 green apple gelatin. This works pretty good. Anywhere from 250 to 400+ pics a week.聽

I've been lucky, I've never hit one. And I drive probably 25,000 a year or more.

I鈥檝e hit close to a dozen. I lost count a long time ago.

I鈥檝e seen 55 gallon drums of peanut butter sold for attracting deer.

Uncle Wilbur use to take a half jar or so of peanut butter and screw the lit to a tree about 3 feet up. He then would cut off half the bottom of the jar just so the deer could get their tounges in it. screw jar back on the lid attached to the tree and you were good to go. He claimed creamy worked the best.
