For a handgun, I don't think you could go wrong with a S&W model 422, 622 or 2206 if you can find one. Because of the barrel configuration you can still use the original sights. There is already an adapter that you can get for $25 or $30 bucks.

You are 100% correct - one of my favorites…just wish smith would bring it back to market with a double stack magazine for additional capacity. 😂

My Buckmark is also my can host for handgun. My can is thin enough to use factory sights as well.

A CZ American in 16" barrel is going to be the most accurate host, IMO. There's a boatload of threaded rifles out there now but not all of them are extremely accurate, just functional. (Yes, Ruger, I'm talking to you.)

I also just picked up (but haven't shot yet) a Henry lever action, octagon barrel & it's threaded as well. In short, there's a plethora of rifle options out there.

My Ruger Rimfire Precision is pretty accurate with the right ammo but I think I got a good one and have ensured all the bolts are torqued correctly and only fire it suppressed. I do love CZ's and Anschultz though. Just a different animal but gorgeous guns....got one from @gr8smiles!
