AK Ammo

Ive been sittin on some ak ammo for quite some time and have quite a bit.I recently sold some to a buddy of mine that was wanting to shoot his new AK.I let him have 200 rnds for only 5 bucks a box!!!I looked online and found the same ammo for almost 18$ a box.Whats the deal why is it so dang expensive?I know I wont be selling any more thats for sure lol.

If it's 7.62x39, it's around 6.00 for a box of 20 locally, last I checked. If that's what you sold him, you didn't do too bad.

$18 a box? Yikes. Most places still have Wolf and Bernaul for well under $10 a box.

Oh, well that explains it. CTD is crap. They marked up their prices tremendously following the elections and really tried to rip off the customers.

Yeah, 7.99 ismost i see locally for Wolf. 5.99 is Monarch(barnaul) brand. I dont konw what type of 7.62x39 ammo is 18$ a box yet.

I just paid $220 for 1000 rds. shipped from Sportsmans Guide (still expensive compared to last year). Don't fall for that CTD fear mongering crap.

they were using the cost of metal(copper and steel) to justify the price increase. plus the price of gas. now on the other hand all three are down but prices stay up.

I got one of their catalogs back when the gouging was REALLY hot and heavy. I called them and give them an ear full. Told them not to send their trash to my house anymore, bunch of ________ crooks.
