Ban on out of state game

I can't see this getting off the ground but nowadays you never can tell.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Secretary of the Interior have been petitioned by two environmental groups seeking to ban all interstate transport of wild mammals and almost all birds, warns the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance. That includes all parts—such as meat, hides, and antlers—even if they’ve been properly processed by a butcher or taxidermist to comply with current CWD transportation laws.

Transporting live wild animals even within the state already requires a permit.  Meat and taxidermied animals sounds virtually unenforceable.

Completely unenforceable & would cost so many states, so much revenue from our of state hunters (think all western states) & state line hunters, that it'll never, ever happen.

My thoughts exactly.
