Greetings,

I live in Clarksville and work in Nashville. I am an Obama supporter and am not a paranoid person. I own several guns and love Tennessee. To the extremists, read and research. Then you will know what is happening and support our commander and chief.

It's Commander in chief, which refers to his position as head of the military. And while I don't consider myself an extremist, I cannot support the Presidents' attempt to transform our country into socialism. A little matter of an oath I swore to support and defend the Constitution, you see... but if you would care to present polite debate on the subject, I think I can accomodate you. We are all entitled to hold an opinion, after all.

You definitely came to the right place for a discussion.

If the country survives 4 years you can tell us who your next candidate will be.

As far as research, its been done, they called it the Soviet Union.

You may begin your dissertation by telling me how higher tax rates on the people that produce in our economy will save it.

This quote spells it out in the shortest form. Dissect it for inaccuracys and back it up with historical facts where higher taxes and government interaction in markets has made that country or society a world leader.

I await your response with an open mind and sincerity.

You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy

out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another

person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to

anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody

else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to

work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the

other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody

else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about

the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

ahh, let him play a while. I want one to answer the questions as asked.

They pretty much stumble after that when they have to resort to rhetoric and fear mongering.

and they call us extremist?

I dont see why you had to tell eveyone that you are Obama supporter if you wasnt here just to start sh%t? You could have never said anything and just came and learned about guns and everyone would have got along but you chose other wise, not the way to make a good first impression. Its great that you love Tennessee, but you proved you dont love your guns because your all mighty Obama dont think we should have them. :x:

Welcome to TGO. I welcome your view point and think an open discussion would be healthy for us all. Please bear in mind that you are somewhat out numbered here. No I do not think you are a troll or someone that wants to start s^&t. Please continue on good sir, for we support the 2nd amendment and also the first amendment as well. This may be lively and fun.

On with the show, this should be good.

I second that emoticon. Lord, it's like going on a MADD forum and going "I was recently paroled for DUI..."

Howdy and Welcome to TGO :)

As you can see most of us did not vote for the President.

Still we all enjoy guns and gun thing plus have other interest so enjoy the discussions and interchange of information and ideas.

Welcome to TGO. Lots of good conservative folks here always ready to enlighten those on a different path. Yeah, most of us have the commonality of liking TN and our guns.

So what kind of guns do you have and how do you use them, target, skeet, trap, self defense, other? Do you have any firearm training, ex military or such? Shoot competitively?

As a general rule most of us don't believe in the term "As----t", as it applies to guns or weapons.

So find a comfortable stump and sit a spell.
