New Bowie being made

Recommended Posts

I asked GT to make me an old style Bowie Knife. I've always wanted one like the CASEXX, and WESTERN Bowie knife, I'm giving him free range on building this one the only thing I asked from him was to a Blade length 12"-14", and a Coffin style Handle with some sort of exotic wood for it. I can't wait to see what he comes up with, I think this one will be the 5th one I've had him design and build for me.

I've already started and now making several different guards to see what I like best. This thing will be a beast when finished.

I am dreaming of a few tweaks to an ESEE-6 style knife with a fairly straight back serrated for kindling prep with a very slight drop point. About 6 to 8 inches worth of cutting edge and 12 to 14 inch overall length. Full tang, lanyard attachment point in the handle or pommel. Speaking of the pommel, maybe a nice robust flat based chunk of metal for pounding on something when needed.
