What's Your Favorite Handgun?

Can't pick just one either. EDC is a LCP, night stand G17, load out P320, BBQ/outdoor range time SR1911, indoor range time G44, converting money to noise with no practical purpose Draco LOL. All depends what we are doing.

after much thought, I chose this as my favorite handgun. I will never own it but when I saw the INFINITI custom it brought this up from memory. It is a Nitehawk custom with color case hardened frame by Doug Turnbull and stabilized mammoth ivory grips. I have the magazine with high quality pics in my collection though.

Until I decide between my Glock 26 and the Shield Plus, I'll have to say my S&W 638.

I carry my Glock 26 mostly because you can use a10 round up to a 33 round mag in it if needed, but do carry my 19’s also. Love my 642 and 638 Smiths also. And don’t forget about the Keltec 3AT (380) with a belt clip, light and thin!

If I go by which one gets pulled out of the safe and shot the most over the course of my life, it would have to be my Ruger Mark I with 5 1/2" bull barrel, by a landslide! It wears a red dot these days & it is just too much fun to put that red dot on a tin can or clay pigeon and see the hit time & again if I do my part. It is truly "favorite".

If we are talking something with more horsepower I'd chose the Sig p210 Target. It is very accurate & pleasant to shoot. Plus it just looks sexy to me. It's a great pistol for a day of plinking.

But saying that makes me feel guilty for ignoring another long termer that has been with me on many adventures, my 4" Ruger GP-100. It has had a trigger/action job & been parkerized. It's seen a lot of use over the years & is an old, reliable friend I just can't ever let go. Too many memories attached to it now.

Taurus 38/357 Mag 2" 7 shot Revolver. I don't leave home without it. Matter of fact, I don't leave the bedroom without it in my pocket. If I carry IWB, the 357 is in a pocket with an additional 15 shot   S W MP 9 C 2.0 or an EZ, both in 9 MM. The rest of them are safe queens. Not paranoid, just trying to be prepared if forced into a defensive situation.

Not actually my favorite, but looks cool.  Posted this pic from yesterday of the gun in new DeSantis holster (Midway USA).

Springfield Hellcat OSP with Holosun 407k x2 mounted.  Also has a Apex trigger enhancement.  Its fine as a carry gun, but imo no better than the Sig P365 I had (sold to get optic ready gun).

I was reliably popping steel at 13-15 yards yesterday in Oak Ridge from behind barriers.  Not as good as my Sig P320 with Grayguns trigger and Romeo 1 pro, but not too far behind accuracy wise.

IMO, there are several really good choices in this price category.  Would consider Taurus and Ruger variants if buying again today.  We are so lucky to be living in a golden age of carry guns,

Like your choices. Maybe not so much on the Mark 1, but definitely on the P210. Your GP 100 sounds like the Model 19 Smith I got from my Dad. Old, reliable, sweet trigger, and a pussycat with 38 loads in it. But more of a Tiger with a hot 357!

Sort of an even tie for second would be my Sig P226 9mm or my Springfield lightweight 1911 .45.

At the range, the one that always gets the most time is a browning buckmark URX.  It shoots great, the grip fits my hands really well, and being 22lr you can fire a lot of rounds for a modest price.

For most other purposes it would be a glock 19 Gen4. I’ll check out the Gen 5 one of these days.

No problem picking mine. I like a Taurus 7 shot K frame size 38/357 Mag revolver which I is my EDC. I have 3. If I go IWB, for back-up, it is a S W MP 9MM C 15 shot. I sometimes carry  Kahr P9,9 shot  Pocket Carry if I want something flatter than my revolvers. With Kaki pants the revolver prints but with black I am fine. These are my favorite pistols and revolvers for concealed carry.

My favorite's are my Beretta M9 and my Ruger P89. The Beretta's barrel stays straight and level which makes the rounds load straight in from the magazine to the barrel with no feed ramp needed. It's very hard to get one to jam. It runs and runs. That is why I like it. The Ruger P89 is just a big overbuilt reliable pistol. The neat thing about it is when it cycles , it seems to cycle just a tad bit slower than other pistols. It kind of sounds like "kachunk Kachunk"  everytime the slide cycles. It will handle the lightest loads that you can make and the hottest loads too. I reload but never make any hot loads but many reloaders use these P-Series to test hot loads. They are that overbuilt and on the thick side but they are reliable.
