I don't think I own it yet.

I agree, so just keep looking!

depends on what I want to do. if there was one be-all-do-all I'd probably hate it.

I even carry my Walther PPK from time to time, just so it doesn't feel unloved! 😄

Do you wear it with a tuxedo...or at least the t-shirt version? 😀

Do any of us?  We seem to all be looking for that Unicorn.  I don't think it actually exists.  Definitely not for me, who rotates through 5 or so pistols, depending on the situation.  😄

You know, I need to get a tuxedo tee-shirt!!! Thanks for the tip!

I've also wanted a shoulder holster for it, ever since I got it!  Honestly, it's one of the most elegent pistols, I've ever seen! It fit Bond to a tee!

Second comment from me. My Shield Plus Performance Center 4" is climbing rapidly on my list. I like it more and more as time goes by.

Mine is the one I am holding at the time I am shooting, as I only buy what I like.

Tough call, but it would probably be the Infinity .40 I designed and ordered a few years back.

I can’t say if that one was this much, but  on line they can be $6000+ custom pistols.

I want to shoot it as well.

USPSA Limited division 2011, 20+1 rds of .40.  It was about $3800 in 2014, payable up front and an 18 month wait.  😢 I’m a big Infinity fan but my other ones were all purchased used except this one. Not sure I’d do it today, as much as prices have risen in the past few years.

Every gun they build is a “custom”, spec’d by the customer through their Gunbuilder online tool.  You can design one, pick all your options and submit it for a quote. Goes without saying anyone here is more than welcome to shoot it, should we ever have the opportunity 😀

Been thinking about this since the thread started.  Lots of favorites, but I guess #1 is my Colt Python from the mid-eighties.  Shooting it just brings a smile to my face. 🤩

Smith & Wesson 39-2.  It’s just a joy to shoot and look at.

Then don’t ever shoot a model 52 Smith and Wesson. You’ll be out some serious money!

We we’re at my parents’ house and my dad had just bought a 52 Smith. We were out shooting it when my older son, probably 7 or 8 at the time, wandered out there. I asked if he’d like to shoot it, and he said “sure!”. He shot a mag full at a target about 15 yards away and left one enlarged hole. He said “That’s pretty neat.”  and went back inside to play with whatever he was playing with. My father and I  just stood there and stared at one another.

Had a 52 for a while. Sold it for a small boatload, well a dinghy anyway, of money! Great Pistol. Pain in the patootie to disassemble/clean/reassemble.

For me anyway.
