I got a G3C for a good price during Black Friday and have put about 300 rounds through it. Had 2 malfunctions on the first day (light primers strikes that the touted second strike capability still failed to fire) but it's been flawless since. Yes, 300rds aren't a lot but ammo is expensive. It runs fmj and jhp just fine. I actually like the ergonomics quite a bit - I have small hands.

Have quite a few rounds through mine now (1k or so),  Have had a few light strikes but on reloads which were using "any primer I could find."  Can't really blame that on the gun though.  Don't remember any light strikes on factory 9mm.

btw, on factory Glocks when this happens it means there is oil in firing pin channel, or that the firing pin needs to be cleaned.  Have not done that on the Taurus, but might want to look at that as a possible solution,

Thanks Ed. I haven't had any issues since that first day but I'll keep an eye on it.

Who here has bought the Taurus G3C  ? Is the "hype" really positive and true ? I keep seeing how it is so reliable and all . This is the first striker fired gun I have seen that has a double-action striker fired action.  It seems that you can fire the gun then fire it again without the slide cycling. I am wondering how reliable this is ? The price is certainly nice. Anyone here that has any experience is apprieciated.

I hear about them but look to psa dagger

What's the difference in G2C and G3C?

As far as I know is the loaded chamber indicator , the Tenifer treatment on the G3 , and the sights on the G3.

I actually have Tarus G3c and I can definitely recommend it for the price. It shoots smooth, its pretty accurate and reliable from my experience.
