Speer Lawman TMJ 9mm Ammo

Hey Y'all,

I'm looking to pick up 500 rounds of ball 9mm ammo to teach a friend defensive pistol shooting and I have an opportunity to pick up some Speer Lawman 124 grain TMJ 9mm ammo. I have a lot of respect for Speer, but have no experience with this particular line. Could anyone relate any opinions on its quality? I suspect it's on a par with the Federal American Eagle and other lines of basic Remington and Winchester FMJ range ammo. Is that correct? It's $119/500 rounds. Any info appreciated.

This is the ammo we used back when I took my carry permit class during the firing drills. It shot great in my Beretta. It seemed like out of all 24 of us shooting, specifically those shooting 9mm pistols, had no issues.

I'd say go for it, unless someone else on here has had negative experience.

Great stuff used a lot in 9&40 never had one misfire/ftf with it. If you are using a lot

you might look into Blazer Brass ,quite a bit less but also have had perfect function.

I have used their 158gr 38spcl + P and its accurate and very clean. I like it a lot.

I BELIEVE THAT THE OUTPOST HAS WOLF 9MM FOR 110.00 FOR 500 ROUNDS. THEY HAVE .40 FOR 149.99 FOR 500.

I would tell you that ammunitiontogo.com has some nicely priced but it's all gone. Was there two hours ago but not now. They had Aquila 9mm 124 gr on there last night. All Gone! Should have ordered when I saw it.

They got the Winchester Military 124gr for a good price if you need something fancier...I was thinkin about getting some for the SMG.

I used to shoot a lot of speer lawman when the stuff first came out......no issues at all and I was pretty happy with the performance of it. I stopped buying it when the price when the price increased but would buy it again at a decent price.

No complaints with Lawman ammo here, great ammo. I can't help but think if it is just Blazer Brass with a fancy name.
