Springfield XD-9 SC or Kel Tec PF-9

The Springfield XD 9 SC is my #1 choice for daily carry, although I would love to have a Ruger LCP .380 as a back-up. I looked at the Kel-Tec, but the little voices in my head told me not to buy it.

I only have experience with the XD but I'm quite pleased with my XD9sc and XD 45. They have been perfectly reliable (only about 500 rounds between the two, though) with zero malfunctions of any kind. Also, they are plenty accurate considering their short barrels. My only complaint is that the 10 round mags in both 9 and .45 rattle when fully loaded.

I carry the XD45 compact.

So weird.

Sometimes my 9mm SC 10 rounder rattles before putting in gun, generally a slap on the back against other palm stops it - and it never rattles IN the gun. Carrying 10+1 right now, no rattle in gun, no rattle in mag when I pull it out.

Same scenario for my 16 rounders for the 9mm SC AND the 9mm service.

I just ordered a couple of 13 rounders for the SC, we'll see about those.

You know about those, I guess?
