Green Top is a great shop camparable to a BassPro/Gander Mtn. As far As I know they just one location in North Richmond Virginia. I’ve been in there several times when I lived I. That area. Good people. I think they bought the old Gander Tn location there but before that they were the best locally as far as customer service. Kinda what Bass Pro was before they went corporate stupid.

After today's upsetting news, hope this distraction helps.

Used po po M&P 15's for $299.  Vendor does not charge the TN 10% penalty, shipping out here to the east side came back @ $17.

At that price, not surprised. I've learned with their emails you gotta strike fast when you see cheap. One of the few places I leave the almost daily spam on cause when they have a deal, it it can be crazy good.  Recommend it if you have the patience.

I started to sign up for emails and they asked all those questions about your FFL # and FFL contact info. It dawned on me that I've never bought a gun online or used an FFL for delivery. Wow.

I can say that wasn’t my experience. because it sounded pretty far fetched, I tested it, and it didn’t go down that way. just entered an email and done.

If you plan to buy a bit of ammo this year, this may be a deal to consider. Normally I dont do subscriptions, but could rationalize this one.

TargetSportsUSA is offering a $50 gift card for signing up for their membership @ $99 and buying a case of ammo from a list of specified brands. This membership gives you 8% off and free shipping. The discount almost nets out the TN penalty. So after the gift card, you can make back the $49 membership cost diference pretty quick.

Up till today there weren't any really good deals on the qualifying ammo brands. But they just put up some Blazer brass 9mm for an additional %12 off when doing the above, so drops it to $211 for 1000 before tax (free shipping).

They email the electronic gift card after the transaction enters, so no real wait. At least that what happened for me.

I used to have a membership with them. I was able to really stock up on ammo that year and better yet, due to the free shipping I could afford to get a couple of boxes of seldom used stuff online w/out taking one in the pills on shipping. I think it's worth it.
