For those whom have never finger banged one or shot, these are possibly THE best .22 rifles being made this side of an Anschutz, IMO. Yes, I also own CZ rimfires (452 models) & I include them as well.

Super nice trigger & adjustable as well. I never tampered with mine as I liked it as it was/is. Mine is the thicker target barrel with walnut stock. Easily shoots snake eyes @ 50 yards with decent but not match grade ammo.

The T-Bolt uses a "helix" style mag, which means it holds 10rds but doesn't stick out past the stock, making it super nice for benchrest shooting. While the mags run around $40-45 each, they are well-built & easily found on Gun Broker & so forth.

If someone has always wanted a top tier rifle (Anschutz, etc) this is a perfect opportunity to spend a whole lot less but not lose much quality doing so, which is rare, IMO. Sell something & buy this one, you won't regret it.

(derf, I look forward to my commission check. LOL!)

Wife bought me one for our first Christmas together 49 years ago.  I have killed a box car load of squirrels with it, and, won a couple of silhouette matches in TX when I lived there.  Guys laughed when I stepped up to the line, them with their high dollar stuff...

Can not beat this rifle and Derf has a great price on it.

Well said.

I've got the heavy barrel version & they're even more accurate, IMO. The T-Bolt is the rimfire version of the CZ-75: way more gun than what it costs.

I severely need to run a bench test with my T-Bolt & Anschutz to see which one is top dog in my safe. That would certainly be interesting, IMO.

As much as I love my CZ 452's, the T-Bolt is better built & looks 100 times better with the wooden stock model. *I* can't stand the synthetic stock models. Yuck!

Someone needs to buy this thing & be amazed when they shoot it.  😉

Bobsguns, it's good you like your T-bolt, but the one derf is selling is the original 1960s model, not the current one offered by Browning that you appear to have.  No heavy barrel or synthetic stocks were offered; it's just a light and trim hunting rifle with one of the fastest-operating bolt actions ever made.  If I didn't already have three I'd buy this one from derf...and if he keeps dropping the price I might have to buy it anyway.

Cheers,
