What are the RIA 1911 going for now?

this is true. $650 does seem a tad high depending on the model and extras. for a base 1911 I would expect $450-500. with extra mags, aftermarket grips, etc it climbs quickly.

I recently purchased a Rock Ultra in 10mm and with tax it ran me into the better part of $700.00.

And this price seems to be on a fair average-if you can find one anywhere-I waited till Shoot Point Blank had them back in stock.

I haven't seen a RIA on the shelf in quite awhile.  Most of the models I'd be interested in purchasing have become difficult to find lately.  I did get a laugh when I saw a used Raven in a counter with a price over ten times the new price of $15 or 2 for $25.
