Heading to Gatlinburg, wanting to shoot

Hey all, It's been years since I've been to the mountains and the last time I was there I wasn't a gun owner.

I'm meeting an old friend and his family for Easter weekend. Are there any rifle ranges there in the mountains that I could get to?

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

Other than the Gatlinburg sportsman club the next ones are the TWRA range in Knoxville or the Norris range in Anderson Co. Or find someone with a hollar you can shoot in.

Yup Gatlinburg sportsmens club is the only rifle range here. Sevier indoor range is pistols only. I think they might let you shoot a 22 rifle but you would have to ask.

But if you know the right people there are some of us that shoot in our back yard... depending on the caliber. I have a buddy that wants to do a get together soon.
