The city of Miami Beach, Florida has declared an emergency with an 8:00pm curfew in the South beach area. The problem is that they have been overrun by Spring Breakers. According to the mayor, massive crowds of young people have overwhelmed the city. Its shoulder to shoulder in the popular tourist areas and traffic can't move.

After the last year I can certainly understand these folks wanting to blow off some steam, but I worry about a huge Covid spike. Remember what happened last year?

They'll be enough alcohol to neutralize any virus and it'll be hard to tell if it's the virus or a hangover. BTW with that demographic, I think the virus is the least of the concerns. haha😃

Stimulus checks have consequences...

A friend of mine was passing through MS Friday and they tried to stop in Tunica for the night. He said they tried 2-3 places and none had vacancy. Everyone was out blowing that stimulus check at the casinos.
