Just a note to those of you who are looking for S&W mags, Buds Gun Shop, www.budsgunshop.com up in Paris, KY, still has a sale going on for 5 of the eleven shot S&W M4006 police trade in mags for $30. The five I bought were very nice carry mags, not beat-to-death range mags. I ordered five more today. CDNN wants $15 apiece for them. FWIW.

Got my five M4006 mags for thirty bucks today. They were all UNISSUED S&W AccuGuide mags with no sign whatsoever that they had been inserted into a pistol.

Now I'll prolly get struck by lightening.....my luck just ain't this good!! grin.gif

Well mine came in yesterday.. all of them are yellow follower, none were marked "LEO", but there were some markings on the front of each mag. One had a "+", one had a "1", four had a "III" and the other four had "IIII".. what is up with all that? Anyone know?

Froggy, four of my ten have those markings, but they appear only on the mags with yellow followers and with the only other marking the S&W logo. The other batch I bought are AccuGuides with blue followers and do not have those markings. FWIW. I have no idea what it means.

Me either.. but they seem to all be ok.. cleaned them up.. the pistol I bought them for should be here any day now.

If the ten I bought are any indicator, I'm sure they'll be fine. And I'd also bet Bud's would make good if you got one with bad feed lips, too.

No, I'm running the military rifle and pistol matches here at Cherokee and won't be able to get away. Come on down if you can. It's the third saturday each month from March through September, Vintage and Modern military pistol and rifle matches. Here's a thread on them.

I'm still getting over a hip replacement, so I prolly won't be able to shoot in the matches for a few more months.
