Looking for long range optics

Vortex gen 2, meopta optika 6 , etc

Must be at least 30mm tube and have turret to dial.. Thanks

Look at the Athlon scopes on Ellet brothers, very good optics for the price, I think the Argos gen2 with ffp, 6x24x50, ir is selling for $555 and they are competing with scope double the money. If you contact Jerry at Mystic Precision he should be getting one with the moa reticle, I originally ordered it and then decided to upgrade to the Ares Etc. They also have a lifetime warranty.

Are you talking 1,000 yds or beyond?  I like Athlon and have a Midas TAC 5-25×56 and it is a nice scope.  I like it better than the Vottex's that I have owned in the past.

For long range out to and beyond 1,000 I run Schmidt and Bender  PMII's and have used my Nightforce Atacr out to a mile.  I have looked though a NF NX8 at a mile and it is impressive

I'm a big fan of the Athlon Midas TAC scopes.  I have several of the Midas TAC 6-24x50 MIL and 1 of the Midas TAC 5-25×56 MIL scopes.  I use them primarily for NRL22 and ELR 22LR (out to 500 yards).

Make that four recommendations for Athlon. I have an Ares mounted on an RPR in 338 Lapua and couldn't be happier with it.  Caveat: I'm not a competitive shooter, but for long range "plinking" I really like the scope.

Not long range center fire but I have a Athlon Neos for my .22lr. Very good scope, possible the best in the price range.

Athlon does have some nice scopes for the money. I have 3 all total.
