Two slicers by popular request....

Several folks asked for brisket knives. After a bit of research this is what I came up with.

Both are made from  .100 thick 1084 carbon steel.  Both are 16" long with a cutting edge of 11 1/2" and come with a lined edge guard shown in the pictures.

The have been professionally heat treated and tempered and received a cryogenic dip as well. They have a Rockwell hardness  of 57-58.

Final edge was sharpened at about 19.25 degrees of so. They are stupid sharp. Nice thing is they should hold an edge well and yet be able to be re-sharpened easily unlike many other steels.

The prices reflect the professional heat treating, cryo, shipping and edge guards....keep that in mind.

These would be $170 shipped. I have no plans on making more in the near future. I have a few knifes I need to get finished with first and a garden to get in so.....

1.Curly Maple handle with SS pins and red G10 liners. The finish is a repeated circular swirl pattern. It looks good but you honestly can't feel it.

I've seen in on other knives but for the life of me can't recall what the pattern is called. If anyone knows let me know please.

2. Black G10 handles with OD G10 liners and SS pins. Some sculpting on the spine as well as the handle.
