So my new AR-15 arrived (finally) after being lost in the FedEx package backlog from the winter storms.
It is a left handed build with a Stag Arms upper and a PSA lower. Only iron sights at the moment. Trying to decide on a reddot or other optic.

I can’t wait to get to the range.

Have you got a better pic of the "hand" sight?

AJ, what is your primary intended use?  That will help with your optics choice.

Truthfully, distances less than 100 yards

love these. have one saved in my ebay. I like my holo sight, works great for old eyes. with flip ups for back up.
just icingon the cake since with my AR pistol I should be able to hit anything in pistol range even without the dot

Put a Geissele Trigger in it, I had the Flat Trigger in my AR's. Looks good, I might have an extra Magpul Hand Guard, I'll look around if I can find it you can have it if you want, it came off my Magpul Edition S&W MP 15. I swapped it out for a BCM One Piece 15" Rail. Let me know and I'll see if I can find it if your interested. I sold you that M&P 45acp Shield.

A new addition to my new addition. I built an upper mainly for 22LR but I have a regular BCG as well.
Started with a blem upper, added a slightly used 223 Wylde barrel with a 1-9 twist. Had the end rethreaded. Put a rail height gas block with a match free floating front hand guard.

I’m using a CMMG conversion kit for the 22LR.

Finished the lower build for the .223 Wylde barreled upper. Started with a standard carbine stock, but after testing it out I don’t think the buffer/spring were quite right for the rifle length gas system.

Thanks to KahrMan I added a full rifle stock and ended up with this.

So that build above ended up Cerekoted (on another thread). I then rebuilt it again but for 6.5 Grendel.

I took the barrel from the original build (that I will use with my cmmg 22LR conversion) and put together this sort of M16A2 clone bit with the carbine stock. I need to change the rear site to a carry handle. I might, but then I lose my option for easily mounting an optic.
