I'm tired of cheap $12 rubber hunting boots, but I don't need $225 snake boots. Any good in-between boots. I'll be in mud and a few rattle snakes 馃悕.聽 $85-125ish.

I've got a pair of the "Muck" brand boots, pretty comfy but heavy.聽 I wear 'em during winter fishing, not hunting.聽 Recently got a pair of similar boots from Academy Sports for $60 or so, much lighter, thinner soles, just as comfy when walking.聽 Not worn the new ones fishing yet just around the house due to all this wet weather we have now.聽

I have a hard time with slip on boots fitting my feet.聽 Muck brand of them only brand that I've tried that's tolerable for me. I'm on my 3rd pair in 7 years.聽 But my first pair is still functional.聽 Last pair I bought was from Amazon, played around with the color choices and apparently brown isn't a popular color so I snagged them for $100.聽聽

I have a pair of Muck and a pair of Irish Setter lace ups. 聽Both are insulated, but the Mucks are a little warmer. 聽Since they are lace ups, the Irish Setters offer a little better ankle support. 聽Both are waterproof and offer pretty good traction in wet/dry/mud/snow. 聽The Setters were a little cheaper than the Mucks if I remember correctly聽
