I saw a bill board for the Bristol show this weekend at the speedway. First time at Speedway that I know of. I won’t be going.

RK shows trying out a new venue is my understanding. Word is 375 tables which I assume is more than any other venue in the area.

There is one scheduled for the end of the month in Columbia at the Armory.  Not sure I will go as I have bought enough this last month to last me a year, but sometimes you can't pass up some rare guns.

375 tables. I wonder how many will have junk vs actual gun stuff.  I will guess 300 junk and 75 gun stuff.

Oh Gary, you optimist !

If I set up a booth selling air freshener that smells like gun powder, brass, and gun oil does that count as a gun stuff booth? 😁

How many of the 300 will be beef jerky?

I don’t make the rules but air freshener doesn’t count. I haven’t been to a gun show in years but there was always a couple of men that smelled like they haven’t bathed in two weeks . I doubt that soap and deodorant would be big sellers.

if women wore perfume to attract men they would only need three, gasoline, gun oil,,,and vanilla. sorry ladies, not being sexist, just stating fact. In blind tests men preferred vanilla extract over any perfume made. vanilla musk, the wally world stuff, is my kryptonite.

Ah the smell of fresh vanilla. The most potent aphrodisiac in the world for me. A young lady I almost married back in my Cookeville/Sparta days wore something that smelled like vanilla. It was my weakness for many months. I followed her around like dog chasing a rabbit. lol

To this day, I cannot smell anything of vanilla aroma and not think of her.

Well a friend attended the new venue for RK at Bristol and reported back it was a flop in his opinion. He's a regular attendee for wheeling and dealing and said attendance was down vs the Meadow view show in Kingsport or even Gray and the Kingsport city venue. It may have been due to the new location gaining legs or the over abundance of local shows and many people thinking everything will be priced at the show like it is online and why pay money to see endless tables of overpriced ammo.

RK is having a show in Murfreesboro this weekend instead of Lebanon. I wonder what caused the change in venue? The ‘Boro expo center is a shadow of the facility in Lebanon, with less parking, less capacity inside, and a pitiful air conditioning system.

I’ll  probably go on Saturday, anyway.

I went to the Murfreesboro show today.Gun prices were about average,9mm and 5.56 ammo were extremely high.$1 a rd for 5.56 but the shocker was primers.$300/$340 a thousand.Powder was around $80 a lb. I stayed about an hr,too crowded for me.

There is an RK show in Lebanon this weekend at the expo center. That’s a good venue for a gun show, and I hope to be there Saturday.

I went to the Lebanon show this am. Surprised at the amount of reloading components there. COVID prices of course. Ammo, the same pricing.

I was there early, no long lines then. Crowd definitely down from previous shows.

Bought nothing, as usual, just checking things out. If you have a wallet in each pocket, you can get ammo & components.

Jackson show on July 10. I'll be going. First show I'll attend in over a year. 👍

But it looks like its Saturday only.

I went there around midday for a few hours, mainly to catch up with old buddies. I tell you what, I think the market for ARs has finally reached saturation point, as they aren’t moving much at any price. I saw a very nice Detonics Combat Master tucked away on someone’s table, and it was about the most interesting thing there beside my AR-180 that I carried around.
