Here's one that's actually true. My wife and I once owned a cat named Democrat. We named it Democrat because:

1) It consumed more than it produced.

2) You couldn't understand a thing it said, and

3) It took two working Republicans to support it.

I come home each day and call my dogs everything but dogs. I tell them their life consists of nothing but sleeping and waiting for entitlements. They don't beg. They're too lazy to do that.

Ya'll reminded me of when I went over to my sister's house back before the election. When I got there I picked up the mail out of the box and walked inside. My 6 y/o niece Emily, secretly my favorite of my sister's three kids, was sitting at the kitchen table working hard at defacing coloring books. Amidst the junk mail in my hands was a DNC mailer with The Messiah's image on it so I handed the mailer to Emily and told her she could color on it; she looked at my with worriedly with her puppy dog eyes. I told her, "Its ok Emo, you can draw on it, he is a Democrat." She said, "OK", and went happily to work on Obama's visage.

A few minutes later my sister walks in and sees that Emily is working hard on a picture of some sort and asks, "Emily, what are you drawing on?"

Emily looked her mom straight in the eye and told her very seriously, "Its OK, he's a Democrat."

I can't wait until she's old enough to learn how to shoot.
