I really don't. I know he stripped it and blued it and then did it again because it got a nick in the bluing dip pan.

Hate to bust your bubble.  An unfinished or original pistol like yours is worth more than the very nice looking pistol you have now.  I have run a refinishing shop for many years and tell the customer it’s worth more if I don’t touch it on some firearms.  I know you don’t plan on selling it, so it’s a mute question.  Enjoy.

I have a Browning Baby .25 and an Iver Johnson single 12 gauge and both will be refinished. in 20 years a refinished piece will be worth more than an un-useable rusty paperweight.

 

It looks beautiful, the way it should. let the barn finders keep their high priced junk and enjoy!
