That's sad. I remember hearing his radio show most every morning growing up as my parents drove me to school. Probably the single best pitch man that Bose Labs had for their Wave Radios. :D

I'm 56 years old and I really can't remember a time when Paul Harvey wasn't on sometime during the day. He definitely had a unique way of delivering the news that made it interesting. And the "Rest of the Story" spots were always fascinating. He will be missed.

Now I feel bad.

I was listening to Paul Harvey do his segment yesterday, and I noticed that he did half the segment, and his son finished the second half. I thought to myself, "his days are numbered".

There was a time when I had his schedule memorized. I would switch stations just to hear him do “News & Comment” and “Rest of the Story”. He will be missed.

Sad to hear he's gone. A friend and I were just discussing what would happen to his show locally, once 99.7 changes it's schedule on Monday. He'll be missed.

One of the hardest things about getting older is losing the ones you look to for advice and opinions. I will miss Mr. Harvey. He was a Great American. :hat:

Yes, he will be missed. Ron?? Chapman, I believe that is his name, has been doing a lot of his shows, and his son, and I have heard Mike Huckabee too. They do pretty good and keep to what Paul Harvey always did.

Always liked listening to Paul Harvey.

I was afraid that he wouldn't be here long after he lost his wife. You could kind of tell that his heart just wasn't in it like he was when she was alive. They were married for 68 years.

RIP Mr. Harvey

It was really nice listening to him on the radio. I'll miss him doing the Rest of the Story.

While I can appreciate his son trying to do the segments, it's just not the same.
