What press do you use?

I have been loading with my dads original press which is a Pacific/Hornady 007 single stage press. Hornady bought out Pacific and added their name to it in the form of a plate but kept the Pacific name cast into the side for several years. I finally broke down and bought the RCBS RockChucker supreme and I love it. My old one after 30 years and I would venture to say in the millions of rounds loaded had finally gotten enough play in the shaft it was time to go with something new. Im not sure if Ill ever go progressive but maybe someday. Whats everyone else using?

I have a very old RCBS rock chucker that this old guy gave me about 20 years ago. I never saw a need to upgrade, although it would be nice to punch the bullets in on one and crimp on a second. I've debated a second press for years, lol.

my girlfriends dad had one that a frien d of his got at an estate sale. He wanted to sell it to me for 75 when i mentioned I was going to order me a new one but i declined and told him i could get one for 40 off ebay. He always has been a tad overzealous on what he thinks stuff is worth. Somehow he always manages to sell it so some unsuspecting sole though. It was in brand new shape however. If it was ever used it wasnt used much.

RCBS makes a good press, but there's not much difference in any of them that i can see. I have both rcbs and lee dies. When i started i only bought rcbs dies for years, but the lee dies are just as good imo.

I agree on the dies I have RCBS, Lee, and Hornady and they all work about the same. I usually change out the locking rings on the lee and put the hornady split locks on them that way i know they stay set to where i want them.

I have a Hornady Lock & Load progressive for my pistol calibers and Hornady L&L Single stage for rifle stuff. Traded some car repairs for the presses and other items.

Have had Dillon 550, Redding T7, Lyman Orange Crush - this is my favorite

I have 2 Lee Loadmasters, Lee Challanger, and a Lee loadall. Bought most of them off fleabay.

Dillion Square Deal I think is the best for reloading (it will only do pistol rounds) I have pumped out about 1000 rounds in 2 hours.

I use an old Lyman turret press for loading and a seperate Lee challenger single stage for depriming/ priming cases. Any of the dies are good and I am replaceing most of my older sets with new carbide dies from RCBS.

I have an ancient RCBS JR-2 that my grandfather bought in 1957. It's a great press and still does it job, but I sure would like to move up to a progressive for reloading pistol. I suppose it's partly because I'm still new to reloading but it takes me about an hour to load 50 rounds, and I normally shoot at least 100 each time I shoot.
